Dinesh Wicks: The Wizard Pulling Many Musical Strings

“We create music.  We do not have “a sound”.  We take pride in giving every show we work on its own unique voice” – Dinesh Wicks, Founder, The DA’s Office

Dinesh ‘D’ Wicks shares that being relentlessly transparent and open – down to earth and easy going in business has significantly laid the foundations of his success. As a Law graduate, his destiny in many ways had already been written, when through a fairly organic process he signed to BMG Publishing at the age of 15 years. As many young men do, Dinesh embraced the guitar as a tool to lure in the ladies, but in addition to his amazing wife, he ended up luring in tremendous amounts of success and has since grown a global business called ‘The DA’s Office’ (AUS/LA/NYC based)  – dominating the music production/composition scene across film, television, games, media and radio. The DA’s Office has been internationally recognized:”WINNER – Most Performed composers Australia 2012 (APRA) + WINNER International Achievement Award 2014 (APRA AMCOS) + WINNER Most Performed composers Australia 2011 (APRA) + WINNER Top Series Music USA 2013 & 2014 (ASCAP)”.  Dinesh reveals some of the rockstar names he’s worked with, what sets his business apart and some of the key ingredients that have attributed to his success to date. If you’re aspiring to be successful in the music business to any degree, Dinesh is a great person to be hearing from.
